Lifted from the front pages of a national tabloid, Bat Boy The Musical recounts the story of a half-bat, half-boy found living in a remote cave in West Virginia.  Captured and assimilated into the community by the town veterinarian, narrow-minded townsfolk meddle in his affairs, vowing to decide his fate.  Beyond the absurd and hysterical premise, serious themes such as hypocrisy, acceptance, scapegoating, racism and revenge are tackled.  An impressive score recalling classic horror movie soundtracks will treat the audience to music that spans rock, rap and opera.  Bat Boy is sure to leave the audience singing, “Don’t deny your beast inside".
